Copernicus is a handy app that uses GPS: just hit start, drive, and hit stop. No manual input is required.
The recording continues to work while you use your phone for making calls or navigation.
The accuracy is very high. Only slight deviations from the real distance travelled occur.
Usually, the odometer in your car is less accurate, but does have a constant deviation. We correct for this error by mileage registrations. You can do this very easily from the app.

The trips overview provides clear insight in your trips and allows to correct for errors.
Copernicus recognizes missing trips of imcomplete registrations by periodic odometer registrations.
Missing trips can easily be added between known trips.
